    Mandatory document for citizens of third countries outside the European Union and outside the CPLP. You must attach a valid visa or residence permit/authorization, or official proof of the respective application, proving your legal stay in Portugal. Simply scheduling an appointment at AIMA without a prior visa is not accepted and usually leads to the rejection of the NISS application.

    Mandatory document for citizens of CPLP countries. You must attach your CPLP visa, CPLP Grant Certificate, or valid proof of application. AIMA appointments without a CPLP visa or certificate are not considered valid and usually result in the rejection of the NISS application.
